9. A 100 liters capacity SWH can replace an electric geyser for residential use and saves
1500 units of electricity annually.
Most of electric energy used to heat water. In industry boiler used to boil water and
generate steam here pre-heater used to heat water up to suitable temp but using
SWH we can achieve 70 degree and due to which plenty of fuel oil get save. The use
of 1000 SWHs of 100 liters capacity each can contribute to a peak load saving of
1MW.
