Why Solar Energy ?
 Increasing demand for energy reflected in widening demand -
supply gap in view of limited natural conventional resources.
 In addition, continuously increasing cost of conventional resources
such as coal and gas resulting into high cost of energy and
depletion of such reserves.
 Governments of various countries encouraging use of solar energy
and other renewable energy sources through substantial subsidies
on some of the products.
 Solar products such as Solar Water Heaters (SWH), Solar Lighting,
Solar Power Pack, Solar Irrigation Pump, Solar Power generation
through Photo Voltaic (PV) Modules are driving the Industry.

Solar Power Plants for Industrial Sectors
Industrial sectors is the production of goods and services within an
economy. It typically consume both electricity and heat energy and
consume more diesel for power generation. The industries have many
key benefits to switch to solar energy.
Key Benefits:
 Solar Power can deliver power during load – shedding
 Achieve substantial savings from lower maintenance and
electricity costs
 Reduce diesel power bills, eco friendly produce zero emission
pollution
 Installed on different kind of roofs, including covered parking
areas,
as long as the structure can bear the weight of the panels
Solar Power Plants for Industrial Sectors
Solar Power Plants for Commercial Sectors
Commercial establishments faces power cuts in India. Solar power is best option,
in which many people can get benefit to great extent by having uninterrupted
power supply, unparalleled energy and revenue generation opportunities.
Key Benefits:
 In education sector, Solar Power can help prevent greenhouse gas
emissions and improve the students learning environments. Utilise rooftops
to satisfy a large chunk of their energy requirement during the daytime and
reduce high cost of electricity consumption and generate own electricity
through Solar.
 In Healthcare, like Hospitals, Health Clinics and other medical facilities get
beneficial by having uninterrupted power supply, delivery high quality of
electricity for vaccine refrigeration, lighting, communication, medical
appliances, clean water supplies and sanitation.
 Big step towards going green and corporate social responsibility, saving on
diesel fuel.
Solar Power Panels for Commercial Sector
Solar Power Plants for Residential Sector
Investing in a Solar Energy system for Residence is one of the best
ways to save money, increase the value of home, protect from future
energy rate increases. It helps the environment to turn into a clean
energy.
Key Benefits:
 Prioritize consumption of Solar Power
 Security from grid outage with reliable back – up power
 Reduce electricity bill, avail the net – metering scheme in your
region
provided by Government
 Every KW of Solar PV installed on the rooftop of house can help to
avoid CO2 emissions
 Save money increase the value of home, protect from future energy
rate increases
 Help the environment by turning to clean energy
Solar Power Plants for Residential Sector
Solar Street Lights
Solar streetlight is a stand-alone solar system consisting of a pole, battery bank, photovoltaic
module and LED or CFL luminaires. The use of solar power coupled with energy-efficient
luminaires make this doubly environment friendly. The configuration can be customised to
the wattage and brightness required and it can be designed for dusk to dawn operations with
the required number of days of autonomy.
These solar lighting systems offer an environment friendly and economical option to light up
streets, boulevards, highways, yards, compounds, parks, boundary walls, car parking areas,
military and civilian security installations, airports, ports or indeed, any public space
Features:
 During the day, the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity, which is then stored in
the re-chargeable battery.
 At night, the light turns on automatically using the electricity stored during the day.
 The number of hours the light stays on is dependent on your geographical location,
seasonal lighting and Weather conditions availability.
 Solar lights do not receive as much direct sunlight on cloudy, rainy days, and in the
winter. Therefore, the number of hours stays on will be reduced during those days.
 The construction of this solar LED light is sea front-resistant, and you will enjoy years of
trouble-free use in all weather conditions if installed properly.
Solar Street Light
Solar Water Heater
Salient Features of Solar Water Heating System
Around 60 deg. – 80 deg. C temperature can be attained depending
on solar radiation, weather conditions and solar collector system
efficiency
Hot water for homes, hostels, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, dairies,
industries etc.
Can be installed on roof-tops, building terrace and open ground
where there is no shading, south orientation of collectors and over-
head tank above SWH system
SWH system generates hot water on clear sunny days (maximum),
partially clouded (moderate) but not in rainy or heavy overcast day
Only soft and potable water can be used
Stainless Steel is used for small tanks whereas Mild Steel tanks with
anticorrosion coating inside are used for large tanks
Solar water heaters (SWHs) of 100-300 litres capacity are suited for
domestic application.
Larger systems can be used in restaurants, guest houses, hotels,
hospitals, industries etc.

Solar Water Pumping System
• Solar pump system has a wide range of applications, such as offering
domestic water, helping agricultural and forestry irrigation, and
desertification control. It can also supply water to sea islands, animal
husbandry and water treatment projects
• Features
 Clean Solar Power, environmental friendly.
 The pump driver activates the three – phase AC 380 V supply.
 Higher conversion efficiency
 Cost recovered in 3 – 5 years as compared with gasoline/diesel generator
system.
 Low maintenance design with simple, safe operation.
• Application:
 Large water station, Farm water supply, Plant water supply, Hotel water
supply, Agricultural irrigation, Highway protection, House hold water
supply etc.

Solar Home Lighting System
Solar Home Lighting System (SHLS) harnesses the sun’s energy to light up your home
and power your small appliances. With benefits that extend both to your wallet and to the
environment. Providing illumination powered from the sun’s renewable energy, the solar
cells in the system convert the sun’s energy directly to electricity. This electricity is stored
in the battery and used for lighting whenever required.
Benefits
 Economical: Since the sun provides energy free of charge, you enjoy 30% power
savings on your electricity bills and a longer back up lighting system at zero running
cost
 Non-Polluting: Powered by the sun’s renewable energy, the system is energy neutral
and an absolutely clean source of illumination. 1kwp solar installation reduces 1⁄2 ton
of CO2 (carbon dioxide) per annum.
 No Maintenance: The system has few moveable parts – reducing the risk of breakage.
Once installed, it lasts for long time and requires little attention.
Applications
 The Solar Home Lighting System can be used at many different locations – homes,
walkways, verandahs, and balcony or in any non-electrified area.

The challenges of our Customers
 Different Customer Different need?
 Industrial, Residential, Institutes, Hospitals,
Farmers etc.
 Increasing Power tariff.
 In consistency in Power Supply.
 Increasing Pollution Level.
Government Incentives
Both Central and State governments have launched various schemes to Solar Power in
India.
Key Factors:
 Accelerated depreciation of 80% is available under the Income Tax act for Solar
PV systems, which is helpful for all Industrial, Commercial and Residential.
 Government subsidies, lower interest rates and the significant reduction in Solar
Panel prices.
 The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) provides Central financial
assistance through capital and/or interest subsidy.
 No permission is required to set up Solar installation <10 KW.
 Access to less costly Solar Power compared to conventional electricity tariff
applicable for commercial and high end users.
 Renewable Energy generating systems are connected to the power grid and owners
receive a credit for electricity generated in excess of their own needs and contributed
to
the Grid by Net – metering. Feed-in-tariff/gross metering facilities, provided by the
Government.
 The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) provides revolving fund
to financing and leasing companies offering affordable credit for the purchase of PV
systems in India
