We are located in Des armes, a small village about 62km north of the capital, 
Port au Prince, with approximately 7000 inhabitants.
Shelter of Hope Ministries 
• Share the love of God with the poor 
• Provide basic needs such as food and shelter to the 
poorest in our community

through educational opportunities 
• To be a comforting and healing 
presence in our community
• Haiti is the poorest 
country in the western 
hemisphere.

every Haitian is chaotic. 
• Most have no cash. 
• Potable water can be 
expensive if there is 
access. 
• There are not enough 
jobs.

Clothing Ministry 
60-100 kids receive used clothes bought in Port-Au-Prince, 3-4 
times/year distributed after local church services in the area.
Dental Hygiene 
Toothbrush & toothpaste are distributed monthly to small 
groups of children who are taught proper brushing technique.
Extension of Ministry to Gadere 
• Approximately 3000 living in this community up in Mountain 
• Has worked with others to provide a well for potable water 
• Has helped cleared “road” for easier access 
Future hope:
