2. Microsoft Fiscal Year End provides companies with a number of options to yield additional
savings and funds for adoption to help drive your organization’s IT initiatives.
In this guide, we will cover the following:
• Active US Promotions
• Adoption Offers
• Partner Investment Engine (PIE)
• Competitive Offers
NOTE: All programs have specific guidelines that are dependent on your company’s
segmentation within Microsoft (CTM, CAM, EPG, etc.) and are subject to change at Microsoft’s
discretion. All transactions must be transacted and recognized by Microsoft within the
qualifying period.

Discounts Available for FYE

3. Active US Promotions
Active Global Promotions are promotions available to Microsoft customers through “price lists”. The discounts are
available to all LSPs and customers purchasing under the specified programs (Enterprise Agreement, Select +,
MPSA, etc.). Must purchase by promo “End Date” to take advantage of the promotion.

4. Starter Funds
To help customers accelerate the ROI from purchases made during the qualifying period (prior to the “End Date”),
Microsoft provides Partner Funding for qualifying purchases.
SoftwareONE in-house service and vast VARassist network, will ensure you see the maximum return on your Microsoft
investments.

5. Adoption Offers
Similar to Starter Funds, your organization can take advantage of Partner Funding for qualifying purchases of

6. Partner Investment Engine (PIE)
These funding programs are NOT programmatic.

There are requirements for your partner to not only apply for, but provide deliverables by a specific time (“POE Required”).

activities (a workshop and a consumption plan) open to

assessment ($10K and $20K workshop payouts available
for Managed Partners with pre-approval).

$3,000 per assessment and $3,000 for a POC, $6,000 if
both activities are taken.
