At the Analysis Stage:
The client will ask the software development team to develop a piece of
software
The system analyst will determine the following:
 The purpose of the software
 Description of what the software will be used for.
 Functional Requirements
 The inputs, processes and outputs
Assumptions:
Assumptions depend on the software being created but generally take
account of:
 Hardware needed to run the software
 Software compatibility concerns
 Internet connection requirements
 IT level of users
Once the purpose, functional requirements and any assumptions are
determined, the software development team will begin to develop a plan to
create the software.
