VIA
The leading provider of on-demand public mobility
Via was launched in New-York and first served as one of a kind
ride-sharing service. Due to the pandemic, the client shifted the
focus on being a public transit solutions provider and now
operates in more than 35 countries worldwide. SoftTeco was
responsible for the development of the initial ride-sharing solution
that consisted of two separate Android/iOS applications, for
passengers and drivers, correspondingly. The apps communicate
through Via’s servers and can exchange a vast range of data
including passengers’ information, drivers’ locations, ETAs, etc.
Throughout the development process, Via also requested SoftTeco
to add a web development team to work on the services web

An IoT municipal street light management software
C2 Smart Light is a system for managing smart outdoor lighting
on streets, stadiums, and other city sites. The client is a Finnish
tech company that needed a web application with modern UI for
controlling lighting devices, communicating with engineers, storing
logs and tracking device maintenance history. SoftTeco developed
a solution that allows operators to turn the lights on and off,
manage the dimming level, make lightning adjustments, monitor
the status of the lights, and many other options. As a result of a
mutual collaboration with local departments and road engineers,
the solution was successfully implemented in many Finnish cities
and town councils.

Supersapiens
An energy management system for athletes
Supersapiens is a mobile application that is linked to the Abbott
Libre Sense - a biometric sensor that collects glucose data in real
time. The application displays collected data in a user-friendly
format so that athletes can measure and maintain proper glucose
levels during their training and competitions. Together with the
client’s in-house development team, SoftTeco developed the
application from scratch as well as added new integrations to it.
We also designed a multi-functional website that securely stores
user data in accordance with global security standards. The
website contains useful information about the integration of the
app with other devices and provides an overview of supported
wearables.

Food and grocery supplier for restaurants and small business
Cheetah WFS is a mobile application that allows owners of small
restaurants, cafes and bars to easily order food delivery at an
affordable price. SoftTeco was responsible for all work related to
iOS development. The team updated the old parts of the code by
rewriting them in Swift and made the architecture consistent and
highly suitable for unit testing. This was an important client’s
request since there is a 100% unit testing coverage for the
product. Now the customer has a fully-functioning and swift iOS

A SaaS-based business intelligence solution used by Fortune 100
companies
SoftTeco has worked on Blueprint’s main Storyteller product that
is now used by such brands as CitiBank, Coca-Cola, Nike and Ford.

Golf Сlub
The AI-powered analyzer of golf players for manufacturing
individually fitting golf clubs
The client approached SoftTeco with an idea to create an AI-based
product for automatic analysis of golf players with an aim to
create perfectly fitting clubs for them. SoftTeco developed a
product that uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to
recognize the golf club in a player’s hand and correctly estimate
the angles of his joints (the posture) with an aim to collect and
process these metrics and transform them into final technical
requirements for club manufacturing.

RoadLab
An innovative application for measuring road pavement quality
The World Bank tasked SoftTeco to develop an application for
measuring road pavement quality. The application was intended as
part of the World Bank project aimed at improving the
infrastructure worldwide. Together with the scientists from the
Virginia Tech University, SoftTeco developed an app that uses
accelerometers, gyroscopes and GPS to autonomously measure
and evaluate road roughness on the IRI scale (International
Roughness Index). The information is then sent to local road
maintenance organizations via cellular network or Wi-Fi. SoftTeco
has developed the whole infrastructure around the solution and
provides consultation services to multiple companies and agencies
around the world.
