Social Planning
 Many protest gathered out side the court house to pray for the police office to be
indicted.
 US attorney general general as present for the diction

3. Social planning
According to social planning- problems solving strategies are
aimed at combating community problems
An example of this would be the protesters pushing to
change prosecutors
Doing so involves all three steps which are
Involves people from the community (protesters)
People in power (attorney general, MO Gov.)
And experts (presiding judge, attorney general)

4. Night Locality Development
Members of Ferguson, including local Churches an the Missouri Highway
Patrol, are cleaning up the streets of Ferguson after evening riots and protests.
Community members involved say they are doing this to see what is going on,
to keep their city clean, and to show that there is cooperation between those in power, the
police, and the community members.

5. Locality Development
Human Capital- Giving people something to do which otherwise
would not have anything to do. Building self worth abilities and
strength
Financial Capital- Cleaning up the city which could lead to
businesses staying in the area. Seeing the interest from members of
the community to keep the town clean and functioning.
Physical Capital- By cleaning up Ferguson they are restoring the
building value and can give the town more value in the future.
Social Capital- Bring the community together, building moral
among members of the community also shows others viewing the
pride that these individuals have for Ferguson.

6. Protesters Demand Prosecutor for Ferguson Case
Social Action
There was a group of people who places them selves out side
the St. Louis county justice center
They where chanting to have Bob McCulloch as prosecutor
And to find someone willing to prosecute the police

7. Social Action
This Article connects to social action because
Protestors what to change the power structure
Because they believe the officer should be prosecuted for the
shooting
They are doing this by
Coming together to make the change passible
By having strength in numbers
