Facebook is a social media application founded in 2004 that allows users aged 13 and older to share posts, pictures, videos and links with friends. Users can also sell items using Facebook Marketplace. Snapchat, developed in 2011, enables users to send messages and photos that disappear after being viewed, unless posted to a user's 24-hour story. VSCO is similar to Instagram in that it allows photo editing and sharing, but has no likes, comments or private accounts and also requires a minimum age of 13.
