  • #5 So what are the key trends in marketing and recruiting?
  • #6 What’s the secret to attracting the right candidate? We can definitely get lots of candidates just by pushing jobs out there because there are so many people out looking for jobs, but how can we make sure that we get the RIGHT one?
  • #7 It’s a multitude of many things, but most of all, it’s attracting the right talent by leveraging employee referrals because 40% of hires are from employee referrals and those referral hires are hired 55% faster than other applicants and 47% of those hires stay longer than 3 years. This all adds up to huge savings for an organization. Not only is the position filled quicker, but quotas are being met, and turnover reduced. In the long-term, this means an organization can save lots and lots of money through referrals!
  • #8 So what is Oracle Social Sourcing? It’s a tool to help see those recruiting challenges as an opportunity and help your organization find the best candidates. We do this in a number of ways.
  • #9 One way is by reaching beyond job boards. Not that these job boards, like craigslist, internal career sites, and niche job boards, aren’t important, but getting out past these job boards can greatly improve the odds of connecting with the right talent at the right time while also reducing the amount of time recruiters spend on outward bound recruiting by allowing them to focus on pre-qualified talent as opposed to filtering through all applications. Another thing that social sourcing brings is an enhanced candidate experience – from a simplified application flow to branded content and marketing making it easy to use and setting a lasting impression on your candidates. And lastly, social sourcing will help your organization nurture lasting relationships with your potential candidates. Keep in mind is that 90% of your traffic won’t apply to a position on their first visit, so we need to keep these jobs top of mind so they will remember your organization when they are searching for jobs. I’ll go into a deeper dive of these 3 priorities now.
