This document discusses three types of change: social, political, and cultural. Social change refers to changes in social structures, organizations, behaviors, and values. Political change includes shifts toward more open and accountable systems of government. Cultural change occurs through developments, discoveries, and contact between societies, which can both encourage and resist changes to traditions, inventions, habits, and traits.
