2. What is Social Media?
 Social Media is a way that people share ideas, career
interests, photos, and videos.
 Different social media sites are used for different
information being shared.
 There are different sites used to share media.
 Facebook
 Instagram
 LinkedIn

3. Facebook
 Facebook is a social media site that I use to stay
connected with friends and family. In 2017 everyone
has a Facebook account so regaining contact is much
easier.
 It is easier to use this site when expressing opinions
and feelings through statuses, as well as your life
through videos and photos.

4. Instagram
 Instagram is a social media site that people use to
share photos, videos, and live interaction.
 I use Instagram for personal photos, but my makeup
business as well. On my makeup page I share my
customers’ photos and put my makeup business on
display to build my brand. I also use the Instagram
live to talk to people that have questions about
makeup or to show my skills live.

5. LinkedIn
 This social media site is a professional version of Facebook. It
gives people of the business world a chance to connect and build
their network.
 First off, I use LinkedIn to have my skills endorsed. As well as to
connect with people at the place of my internship. (Blue Cross
Blue Shield of Kansas City) LinkedIn is a good way for me to
show off my experience and skills through a site that major
business people use.
 Keeping in touch with past coworkers and hopefully meeting
future managers is what LinkedIn is known.
