Academic Background
 Research Experience:
 Examined the BRT Systems of Seoul (South Korea),Curitiba (Brazil)
and Johannesburg (South Africa): Exploring their technological applications,
functionality and applicability to Greater Kampala as a feasible 21st century solution to traffic
congestion in consideration of the urban structure and the level of the economy.
 Conducted primary and secondary source research: Examining the impact of
Landscape Design on residential developments in Kampala Central, a case of Kololo
Suburb.
 Training Experience:
 Discussion Leader 2016-2017- Led group discussions and paper
presentations for graduate students on academic topics and urban
issues in Africa.
 Facilitate capacity building programs-KCCA, Plan and led required
training session for DPP
 Planned and taught desktop GIS basics to interns of Institute of Survey
and Land Management, and KU based upon current use of GIS in
KCCA.
