Snow Patrol is a Scottish/Irish alternative rock band formed in 1994. They signed with Polydor Records in 2002. The 2006 music video for their song "Chasing Cars" was directed by Arni & Kinski and features the lead singer going about normal daily activities but laying down on the ground when the chorus begins to connect with the lyrics.

This music video is a mixture of normality and connection with the lyrics. Throughout the video we
see the lead singer of the band. Doing things we do in everyday life. Going to the café, crossing the
road, using the train, going on the underground when it gets to the chorus of the song ( if I lay here
if I just lay here would you lie with me and just forget the world etc.) we see a sudden change were
he breaks normality and he lays on the ground wherever he may be in the café in the middle of the
road on the train. This is done to link to the song and the lyrics.
