 Amazon, is an American electronic commerce and cloud
computing company with headquarters in Seattle Washington.
 It is the largest Internet-based retailer in the United States.
 Amazon.com started as an online bookstore, later diversifying to
sell DVDs, Blurays, CDs, video downloads/streaming, MP3 downloads/s
treaming, audiobook downloads/streaming , software, video
games ,electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys and jewelry.
 The company also produces consumer electronics—notably, Amazon
Kindle e-book readers,Fire tablets, Fire TV and Fire Phone
 ] Amazon also sells certain low-end products like USB cables under its
in-house brand AmazonBasics.
 Snapdeal was started on 4 February 2010 as a daily deals
platform but expanded in September 2011 to become an
online marketplace.
 Snapdeal has grown to become one of the largest online
marketplace in India offering an assortment of 10 million
products across diverse categories from over 100,000 sellers,
shipping to 5,000
 Deal with books, later diversifying to sell DVDs,
CDs, video downloads/streaming, MP3 downloads/strea

RupeePower would continue to be the MD&CEO of the
company.
 In April 2015, Snapdeal acquired mobile-payments company
FreeCharge.com.
 In September 2015, Snapdeal acquired Reduce Data, a
programmatic display advertising platform

Homepage of Amazon looks dull and un-interactive , whereas
homepage of Snapdeal looks vibrant, attractive and very
interactive too.
 Pricing-
The pricing of Amazon is slightly more costly than Snapdeal.
Snapdeal offers more Discounts & less delivery charges as
compared to Amazon.
 Payment System- There is a special collaboration between
freecharge and snapdeal, but there is no such
collaboration of Amazon with any other party.
 Delivery-
As of now the delivery of Amazon can be termed faster and
better than snapdeal with its 1-day delivery service.
