Snapchat blog
1. Why I do not see the interest in snapchat.
Ever since snapchat first existed I have not seen an interest in getting a snapchat
account since people’s storyline disappear at a certain hour or time throughout the day.
I also feel like there is also not that much to do and I would not use it often if I had
snapchat. People could also put videos and pictures on other forms of media including
instagram and twitter. The only times that I would see a snapchat if it people saved a
photo or a video and they shared that.
I also think that at certain times people do not take themselves too seriously and post
too much on snapchat rather than a normal amount. At times people can post what they
think their followers might want to see and not what their followers would prefer to see.
This can become annoying for people which could lead into people not seeing people’s
snapchats before they disappear.
On other types of social media there are ways which people can repost the same picture
or share the same video. However on snapchat there is no way that you can re snap a
snap due to the fact that the snaps posted disappear and people want to see them
quickly. If people decide to save the snaps then they can be seen if posted on other
media. This is also why I do not see any interest in snapchat. Furthermore there are also
some filters which are annoying which include animal filters. I think that after people
use this often they can get bored of it like the face swap filter. I do not understand the
purpose of these filters.
Another reason why I do not see the relevance of snapchat is because I don’t understand
why it exists and the purpose behind snapchat. There are other social media platforms
which are popular, where the posts (like photos and videos) will not be deleted
automatically therefore what it the point in snap chat. If the post seem entertaining and
people do not save them then they are gone forever. I find snapchat boring and I think
that at times there are better things which people can do rather than post unnecessary
things that not all their followers need to see.
2. If for a reason I decided to get snap chat, it will be to have another glimpse of celebrities’
like Little Mix to see what they do throughout their day. I would also see what my
friends get up to and what they post.
One of the main appeals of snapchat is that it is a good method of connection and it can
also be personal as well as other social media platforms. People also like the fact that it’s
fun, and that it’s fast.
There are different ways that brands can use snapchat and that can include promotion
of new items and deals that are happening in the new hours and days ahead. Snapchat
can also be good for brands who are looking for a new target demographic since 76% of
snapchat users also do online shopping. If some brands and shops are looking to
increase their brand awareness about a new product or a product that will be restocked
for example then they can promote the product so that customers will be informed.
