Smart School is Malaysia's education system to prepare students for the Information Age by reconstructing teaching and learning methods and school management. Implementing Smart Schools faced challenges including students not being accustomed to active learning, parents lacking knowledge about Smart Schools, teachers needing IT training as experienced teachers lacked technology skills, and schools requiring heavy investment in facilities and infrastructure with insufficient support. For Smart Schools to be successfully implemented in Malaysia, all stakeholders including students, parents, teachers and schools must cooperate.
