This document describes a smart note taker, which is a smart device that allows users to write notes in the air that are then converted to digital text. Key features of the smart note taker include its ability to recognize 22 languages, instantly convert handwritten notes to editable text, and provide notes for instructors during presentations or for blind users. The smart note taker contains sensors, a database to recognize words, and Java programs to convert handwriting to digital text. Future improvements could include adding a camera and memory status indicator.
