Last year, I wrote about a scary trend in which doctors are prescribing powerful ADHD
medications to minors, whether they meet the ADHD diagnostic criteria or not. In that article, I
noted that more than 70 percent of the children receiving ADHD medications in my home state,
Oklahoma, do not meet diagnostic criteria for ADHD, according to the Centers for Disease

field. My last two years of high school were unique because I was a full time dual enrolled
student, which allowed me to graduate with both my high school diploma and my Associate of
