Colors Communication
Introduction
Communication is a fundamental part of our lives,
whether in personal interactions or professional
settings.
But what does that mean in the workplace?
How can understanding communication styles
enhance our ability to connect, inspire, and lead?

PART 1: Awareness
•The Golden Rule vs. the Platinum Rule
•What do people differences effect on relationships?
•Why do people act the way they do?
•Introducing the 4 different behavioral styles – COLORS
•Test: What is my Color?
THE GOLDEN RULE VS. THE PLATINUM RULE
Treat people the
way YOU want to
be treated!
Treat people the
way THEY want
to be treated!
Why do people act the way they do?
What do people differences effect on relationships
and selling?
• As humans, we tend to think that our behavior and actions are
the universally accepted rule of behavior. When someone
differs from our way of thinking, we often have a negative view
of them.
• In fact, 75% of people differ from our personality. Not
necessarily worse nor better, only different!
• Therefore, people differences can lead to misunderstandings
and even problems…
Think differently
Decide differently
Use time differently
React differently Deal with different views differently

always: “How
I am going to

That's why being able to
understand and communicate
with different personality types
is
key to successful communication
both in and outside of the workplace.

BLUE is associated with introversion and introspection.
People who favour blue tendencies are often analytical,
data-driven, and like to think carefully before they speak.
GREEN is associated with a high level of empathy and
awareness of others. Green-leaning people are generally
steady and reliable and like to practice inclusivity.
RED is associated with being brief and vocal. People who
tend toward red often like to make quick decisions and
aren’t afraid to exert their influence or step up as leaders.
YELLOW is associated with high energy and extroversion.
Those who lean toward yellow are often highly social, enjoy
brain storming sessions, and are generally not afraid to
