3. My journey started here

Sri Lanka - an island country
in the northern Indian
Ocean off the southern
coast of the Indian
subcontinent in South Asia.
This is where I went to school and where,
from a very early age, found it easy to listen
attentively to anyone who was felling sad,
lonely or in need of a friend.
4. Why I chose to study Reiki
It started with pain in my knee …
I discovered I had Arthritis in my knee and tried everything to
make it feel better but steadily it was getting worse.
That was when I decided to visit a Reiki Master. After about 8
sessions my knee felt much better and I also felt so much more
relaxed.
I saw this as a wonderful healing process which would enhance
the work I was doing with my clients in Wellbeing and
Bereavement Counselling.
