middle and secondary levels that
make about 44% of country’s
children (unicef.org) .
Problems/ Challenges
•Dropout rates are lowest in the early years of
primary school, from 2.5% from class 1 to 16%
for class 4 and 43% in class 5.
•Dropout rates also rise from 16% in class 6 to
27% in class 8.
