Flow and glide
• Flow is the easy movement from one
position to another in a steady and
continuous way
• With the definition of flow above, flow
belongs as a criteria under skating
skills because it reflects fundamental
technique and balance. This comes
from the rhythmic knee action and
control of the body over the blade on
the ice.
• Glide is the easy edge movement of the
blade on the ice
