- I’m Steph Allen and I’m Mark Stiles. In the next 20 minutes, we will walk you through some classic content authoring areas of difficulty, and how we’ve solved these problems at Velir using machine learning and AI, built right into Sitecore.
- Our clients - and you - have made a huge investment into Sitecore, with dreams of using every tool on its swiss-army knife-like arsenal.
- We hear all the time, “We want to use Sitecore’s marketing tools, but we don’t know how or where to start.” There are many routes your team could take, and we know how daunting it can feel to know which direction to go
- Before you can truly unlock the power of the marketing technology, there are other things to know and get right/optimized - renderings, placeholders, layouts, data sources, parameters, etc. At Velir, we have a dedicated AX practice to help square the most common issues away. But what about your content and the team you need to build a strong CX?
- In the ideal scenario, you have a fully-stacked team, with an executive sponsor at the top, supported by a CX lead, working closely with a digital strategist, marketing technologist, content marketer, digital analyst, solution architect and ux designer. - Many of our clients have a lot of content. And we mean a lot. We’re talking 100k+ items In order to keep content findable, our clients also have rather complex taxonomy systems - some with four to five axes, and each axis with 100+ tags to pick from. While this is helpful for users, it can put a huge burden on content authors. What is the best tag? Do I have to go through this list every time?
- Tag your content, but faster. Teach the system what tags are related, and then whenever you upload a post, it will intelligently recommend best-match tags. Gone are the days of parsing through lists upon lists.
- Many of our clients have hundreds or thousands of images in their media libraries. The media library can be cumbersome to use if metadata isn’t in place, or if there are thousands of mixed images of all different types. Say you’re trying to build out A/B testing for a content promotion on your site and you want to try a few different images of different landscapes, but your media library is a hot mess. Or you want to set up personalization on your homepage hero because you have a topically broad site, promoting research on various topics from ocean conservation to antibiotic resistance.
