Singapore welcomes foreign talents in order to sustain a vibrant and dynamic talent pool. Singapore follows

a rela vely liberal immigra on policy to a ract and retain foreigners who come under various categories

such as qualified and skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, meritorious professionals etc. Foreigners can

apply for work passes which are available under the following work pass schemes.

                                                         (commonly known as EntrePass)
The Employment Pass (EP) is a type of work pass

EMPLOYMENT PASS
                            Eligibility and Requirements

                                              personal par culars and travel document number. Please include pages reflec ng
                                              amendments to details (e.g. name, expiry date), if any.
                                            • Educa onal Cer ficates, if any1. Please provide a clear scan copy of the documents in
                                              150 dpi Resolu on not exceeding 2MB in PDF file format.
                                            • Registra on or Support Le ers from the relevant Ve ng Agency / Professional Body /
                                              Accredita on Agency, if support from them has been declared in the applica on.

                                            Applicants with diploma/degree qualifica ons from India will need to submit their transcript and marksheets.
                                            Applicants with degree qualifica ons from China will need to submit their Cer ficate of Gradua on.

ENTREPRENEUR PASS
                              Eligibility and Requirements

 Who is It For?                            The Singapore Entrepreneur Pass, widely known as EntrePass, is suitable for foreign
                                           entrepreneurs seeking to set up a business in Singapore.
 Eligibility Criteria                      Proposed business idea, hiring locals, investment amount, applicant’s relevant background
                                           and total business spending.
                                               • You can incorporate a new company upon your EntrePass approval: or
                                               • Company must not have been registered for more than six months at the point of
                                                 applica on;
                                               • Applicant to own a minimum of 30% of the shareholding in the company;
                                               • Company to have at least $50,000 paid-up capital;
                                               • Submit a comprehensive business plan detailing business goals and objec ves.*

                                           * Business plan must demonstrates the viability in execu ng the total business
                                             spending (TBS) and hiring of Singaporeans within a one-year period of star ng your
                                             business.
