FONTANA PRETORIAThe Fontana Pretoria was built in the 16th century in the middle of Piazza Pratoria. A Florentine sculptor designed it. It wasn’t meant to be there originally, but then the designer thought of Sicily and decided to put it there, so he, with the help of more people, had to dismantle and transport it to Sicily. The fencing around the fountain was built in 1858.
