The shot list for my media production

2. Minster
1. Time-lapse of a desolate environment. Sunrise and sunset (Optional)
2. Long shot of house (Minster). Showing the viewer where character 1
lives.
3. Close-up shot of 1s feet, shuffling in bed. He gets out of bed.
4. Reversed shot of above. Climbing down ladder and leaving room.
5. Mid shot of 1 walking over camera. Camera is placed in hallway on
floor.
6. Mid shot of 1 looking in the cupboards. Takes out can of beans.
7. Shot of 1 leaving the kitchen.
8. Shot of 1 sitting down in front room
9. Shot of 1 opening and eating some beans.
10. Long shot of 1 sitting and eating beans. Camera moves to the left
into blackness.

3. Broadstairs
11. Cut to second location (Workshop). Camera rolls from the right into
centre of room. 2 walks in shot and grabs bag on chair.
12. Close up of bag being opened and bottle of water, canned food and
cooker.
13. 2 walks over to table and picks up knife.
14. Close up of knife being picked up.
15. Close up of knife in front of 1s face, only knife in focus, focus
changes and he puts it in
his pocket.
OR: Tracking shot of 2 picking up knife, opening it and putting it in his
left pocket.
16. Cut back to main shot of room and 2 walking out.
17. Shot outside of kitchen in hallway, 2 walks into camera.

4. Underpass
18. Cut to long shot of underpass, setting the
scene.
19. Tracking mid shot of 1 walking from front
20. Tracking mid shot from behind of 1 walking;
he spots a bag on the side of the road and goes
and picks it up
21. OSS of bag being unzipped revealing food.
22. Static camera with 1 walking away

5. Sturry Woods
23. Cut to 2 (Sturry Woods) - long shot of woods
setting the scene
24. Low angle shot looking up at sun between trees
25. Shot of 2 cycling towards woods (tracking on
road/static camera - depends on convenience)
26. Tracking shot of 2 dropping bike and walking
towards dirt patch
27. Close up of 2 putting bag down and opening it;
taking out small plant pot, moving bag and placing
plant

6. Broadstairs
28. As 2 places the plant pot down, cut to 1 walking near 2's house, towards
camera on corner of Lindenthorpe Road/Kings Ave - track around corner and
walking away from camera
29. Tracking shot from car going along Kings Ave of 1 walking towards house,
car stops outside of Kings Ave, 1 opens gate and walks in to garden.
30. Shot from garden of Kings Ave, 1 walks past camera, tracks movement
until 1 approaches window, focus changes from character to bag on table.
31. Shot of 2 tracked from back of car (possibly) cycling towards house.
32. Hand cam shot of 1 opening door to house and entering; as he enters the
camera pans around to 2 pulling up to house on his bike, dropping his bike
and walking up to the front door, wide open.
33. High angle shot of kitchen with 1 in the corner looking in a bag and 2
walking in to kitchen.
