Some years ago, my family and I went camping in our summer holiday. The camping was in a quite beautiful
forest, which had lots of different trees and wild animals. It was surrounded on one side by a stream. I remember
we loved spending the day near the stream or walking through the forest. We also made some amazing friends!
But, during our last night, something happened that would change my memories of that holiday forever. I think it
was 2 a.m. when my father woke me up quickly. I was really tired and confused, so in the beginning I couldn’t
understand what he was trying to say to me. He made me leave the bungaloo and then I realized what he wanted
to tell me: there was fire near the camping! My father took me to the car. Then, he went back to look for my
brothers. My mother was looking for our bags. When we all were sitting in the car, we left the camping. By that
time, the fire was really close to the bungaloos. Fortunately, it was by the side of the stream, so it didn’t burn any
bungalow.
In the end, nothing really bad happened: we all were safe in our car, nobody got hurt and the firefighters did a
great job putting out the fire. But we all were very anxious, and I’m sure I’ve never been so afraid of fire as I was
that day. It was a day I will never forget.

It was the first time that my family and I went to Australia. We went there to celebrate my mother's
birthday. We were in a hotel, one of the most famous and expensive hotels in Australia, but also a little
dangerous because it’s in the area where there are frequent earthquakes. One day, my sister and I went
to the restaurant near the hotel where we were. I was excited because we were going to do a little trip to
visit the koalas and the kangaroos. When my sister finished she went to the hotel to have a rest after the
tiring day. She had just gone when I felt a little vibration. I had no idea of what was coming. The glasses
started to fall on the floor. Then the pictures on the wall started to move and finally the people were
moving unintentionally. I called my parents and my sister and they came in a second. Finally, it was the
shortest earthquake in Australia but one of the most dangerous. When I was in the restaurant I thought
only about my family and when they came with me I felt relief. It was a day I will never forget.

Last summer, I was in Chile with my family. At first, we were doing some sightseeing, visiting the
amazing cities and enjoying the landscapes. Suddenly, while we were visiting Santiago, we noticed
something weird. The floor started to shake! We were anxious and nervous.
“It’s an earthquake!” said a tourist. In the beginning, we didn't know what to do and freaked out.
But luckily, our guide said “Let’s go to that open area away from trees, telephone poles, and
buildings. The area near the outside walls of a building is the most dangerous place to be”. By the
time we reached that area, the earthquake had become stronger. It was starting to be very
dangerous, because we couldn’t stand up anymore and the buildings surrounding us started to
collapse.Eventually, the floor stopped shaking and everything became calmer.
In the end, everyone around me was safe and we got to the hotel soon. It was an interesting and
unique experience, but I was relieved when everything ended and I will never forget how
frightened I felt that day.

Two summers ago, I was in my town with my friends. We were bored, so my best friend had a bad idea: going
into the haunted house.
At the beginning we were laughing and having fun but when we entered the house we started to hear voices.
At first we thought it was our friends, but the furniture started to move and a white shape appeared in front
of us and said: “you must read the warning”. We ran out and we decided to tell our story to the police. Next
day we read the newspaper, and a journalist wrote that there was a man who likes to play jokes on young
people.
The ghost was not real and the house was not haunted , but it was a day I will never forget.

Last summer, my family and I went to Hawaii on holidays, we were so excited with this travel due to my sister
had just finished her first year at university and it had been too hard, she deserved a rest.
In the beginning, they were the best holydays ever, but something started to go wrong. Suddenly, while we
were visiting a village, an earthquake happened, everyone was shocked. At first, I felt indiferent since I had
previously heard about these unimportant earthquakes, but the second one was bigger than the first and
eventually, I was terrified.
Finally, the people who worked in the hotel told us that those earthquakes were normal there, even though
they were big, they weren´t dangerous, it was such a relief!. In the end, we could enjoy our holydays without
any problem. But I always remember the fear that I felt that day, it was a day I will never forget.

I still remember my last Christmas holidays. My friends and I decided to spend one night at Ana´s county
house, 10 kilometres away from our town. We were already excited about the idea.
The weather was warm and nice in the morning. Ana´s father drove us to the house and left. We were having
a great time together and, as it was getting dark, Ana lit a fire. We were watching the flames glowing and
moving our arms to see the shadows.
Suddenly, It began to rain and a terrible storm started .The lights went out, It became darker and darker and
the fire vanished. We all started to cry and we were very nervous and we couldn´t charge our mobiles which
were out of battery because we were using them all the time.
We heard some foodsteps outside, so we were very frightened and someone opened the door. It was Ana´s
father because he decided to help us. I was a day that I will never forget.

Two years ago, my mother and I were buying food from the supermarket for the week, when we heard a hard roar. The
supermarket people were quiet and confused.
Suddenly the place started to smell like burnt meat and a big fire appeared from the inside of the supermarket. The
people began to scream and ran everywhere. Eventually, firefighters arrived and they saved many people, but there were
many people injured.
At first, the people thought the fire came from a defect oven from the little bakery from the supermarket, but when the
police researched the place, they noticed that inside the oven there were human body remains. The person who put the
corpse of his victim exploited the oven.
After atime, the police found the killer thanks to a proof which they found in the dust of the place. The killer was a
stepson of the victim, he killed him with a gun and after that he put the corpse in the oven. People felt very confused and
relieved.
It was a day I will never forget.

Last year, I went to Badajoz because my parents and I were invited to the wedding of my dad's cousin. I
didn't want to go there, because I thought it would be boring, but eventually, I really had a good time.
At first, we went to a church to attend the ceremony. Maybe it was a little boring, but when it was over, the
fun started. First, I met a cousin called Clara that I had never met before. She is two years older than me
but we spent all the time together and we became very good friends. Secondly, we had dinner in a very
nice place. Clara and I sat at a table with the other cousins. The food was delicious and we were speaking
and laughing all the time. Later, the music was played and people started dancing. The bride gave us sweets
and we started dancing too. Finally, we spent hours and hours laughing, playing and trying different types
of dances.
Since then, I have been very close with my cousins, especially with Clara, who has become one of my best
friends today. I had a really good memory about that day. It was a day I will never forget

Two years ago I was at my best friend’s house in the countryside. We were in her room because there was a storm
outside and we couldn’t go out. At first we tried to play some board games but we got bored again after three
rounds. Then we decided to go out
We went to the forest. Previously my mother’s friend said that it was so dangerous to go to the forest during the
storm, but at that moment I didn’t remember that, so we continued walking through the trees. Suddenly, I saw
something strange moving in the darkness and without thinking I tried to get closer but when I did the strange
creature vanished. I explained that to my friend but she didn’t believe me. Eventually, she started to hear whispers in
the forest, she said it seemed like growlings but not exactly. I said to her that it was only the wind blowing between
the trees but my voice sounded quite nervous. The storm ended, so we decided to go back home. Finally, I saw a
flashing light and we thought that it was the house, but when we arrived, there was smoke everywhere and a big
flame in front of us. Shocked we tried to escape from the flame but we couldn’t see very well because of the smoke,
so instead of avoiding fire the fire surrounded us. We were really frightened and we didn't know what to do. Suddenly
a really big dog appeared and started to dig in front of the fire. While the dog was digging, he was throwing dust to
the flame. At the end, after a while the dust extinguished the flame and we could go back home safely . We never
saw the big dog again but I was absolutely sure that it was a day I will never forget.
