Capt. K. Devadas started his professional journey as a Cadet (Floating Cadre) with
SCI in 1976 and has been serving the Shipping industry for over 38 years.
Mrs. H.K. Joshi took over as Director(Finance) of the Shipping Corporation of India ltd.
on 5th February, 2015.
Shri Shrikant V. Kher has been appointed as Director (Bulk Carrier & Tanker) w.e.f 1st
October, 2015.
4. Capt. Sinha is a Master Mariner (Foreign Going) and holds a diploma in Shipping
Management. He has also served as Member of THC Committee (India, Pakistan,
Bangladesh) Ceylon Conference, as member of BIS – Technical Committee on Cordage
(Ministry of Textiles) and as member of 11th Plan Sub-Committee on Multi- modal
Transport.
Capt. S. Narula has chaired or participated in several workshops/ conferences on coastal
shipping, port development, freighting and commercial aspects of liner trade. Prior
appointment as Director, Capt S Narula was working as Senior Vice President in charge of
Container Services, Marketing and Break Bulk services.
Capt. K. Devadas is a Master Mariner, holding Master (FG) Certificate of Competency from
GoI and MBA degree in Shipping & Logistic Management. He is a member of Institute of
Chartered Shipbrokers, London and a fellow of the Company of Master Mariners of India.
He has been a Speaker and Panelist and has tabled several presentations in various Indian
and Global Shipping Conferences and Seminars.
Mrs. H.K. Joshi is a life member of the Institute of Public Administration, Delhi. She had
been deputed to Dallas (USA) for four weeks for financial training and has undergone
Advanced Global Leadership Program conducted by SCOPE and IIM Kolkata, with
overseas exposure in Europe and has to her credit various overseas assignments during
her long association with OVL during which she travelled to many places.
Shri Kher has vast experience in Off Shore Services, Business Development and
Commercial operations of Bulk Carriers & LNG Tankers. He has been closely involved in
the LNG project development activities from inception and formation of the joint ventures.
With Shri Kher’s expertise in project development, SCI will make its presence felt in niche
markets.
