Played an active role in the stage by stage completion of Engro Elengy Terminal. Well versed in
National and International Regulations and Requirements for the construction and commissioning
of new LNG terminals. Consultancy provided with SIGTTO Recommendations, including the Site
Selection and Design of LNG Terminals, PIANC requirements for the detailed construction and
safety recommendations, OGRA LNG Policy 2011 for the construction of LNG Terminals, OGRA
LNG Rules 2007 and OGRA LNG Rules 2012.
Total time at sea: 34 years. 1990 -2014 (22 Years with Shell - UK). Experienced in LNG Carriers

Qasim, Karachi is operated by ENGRO/VOPAK. Commissioning project is
completed and the terminal is fully operational now.

motivated Senior Officer with a Class 1 (Master Mariner), STCW grade II/2, Foreign Going (U) un-

Responsible to Shell Trading and Shipping Company Ltd.UK (STASCo) for the day to day safe
operation and maintenance of their fleet ships. Responsibilities included the safe and effective
administration of personnel on board. Keeping high standards of Shell Health, Safety, Security and
Environment policies. Execution of all projects and plans safely and professionally. Actively
maintaining an open minded and proactive approach to addressing issues that may affect the
vessel’s safety, operating ability and reliability. Good theoretical knowledge and a sound
understanding of LNG carriers best operating practices. Also included the responsibility towards
the running of ships in a cost effective manner. Voyage Optimization stayed a part of my
performance during serving Shell. A very high standard of performance is evident in my pay slips
showing yearly Performance Bonus and Merit Awards since 2009 till my last pay slip in 2014. Cost
Effective and successful completion of two LNG ships re-cycling (scrapping) in China in 2011 and
dry dock of LNG ship at MHI Docks at Honmoku, Japan in June 2013 was completed successfully
under my command.

Supervision of ship’s staff with a vast cultural diversity was achieved successfully.
During this period sailed on board Petronas (MISC) LNG Puteri Class vessels for about 3 years
under the Shell contract. Also sailed as a senior officer on board Nigerian LNG vessels under the
Shell management.
