To Whom It Concerns:
Please accept this letter of reference for Sherilyn Shane Regg, an applicant for a position
within your organization. I have known Sherilyn for nearly three (3) years and I am pleased to
write this letter on her behalf.
After the privilege of having Sherilyn as a student, I have been blessed to remain in
contact with her over the past few years. Sherilyn is an enthusiastic learner who meets
challenges head-on and is unafraid to ask relevant questions. If I had to describe Sherilyn with
one adjective, I would say that she is passionate. This is perhaps her strongest trait and it is one
that is valued in any work environment. Whether she is working on a project, mentoring and
parenting her children, championing a cause, or managing her busy life, she does it with
inspiring levels of commitment and gusto. Even when she meets challenges that could set up
roadblocks, she is able to put these situations into perspective, do whatever she needs to do to
adjust, and she carries on. It’s that simple, and I admire that about her. Sherilyn also
demonstrates an amazing sense of compassion and is a reliable and dedicated team member.
I know that once you meet Sherilyn, you will be impressed with her obvious passion, her
warm personality, her skill set, and her beautiful nature. She will indeed be an asset to your
organization and I know you’ll appreciate her positive attitude, her thorough approach to work,
and her bright smile. I urge you to seriously consider inviting her to be a part of your team.
If I can provide additional information to further support Sherilyn’s application file,
please contact me at Kim.Jackson@kctcs.edu or (270) 901-1133.
Respectfully submitted,
Kim Jackson
