It is my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Marsha Runyan. I have had the
pleasure of viewing Ms. Runyan’s professional development grow tremendously over the past year, and I can
state with confidence that she is a motivated and responsible person with a high degree of integrity. As such, I
expect that she will be a very positive addition to your organization.
As the President and Chief Executive Officer, I feel that I know Ms. Runyan quite well. She began working with
the school in September 2014. In this role, she had a considerable amount of responsibilities, and she
handled them very well. She showed her skills in communicating with both customers and the staff, and due to
her dedication and attention to detail, she was promoted to Business Office Manager in January 2015.
Ms. Runyan has been able to learn new processes as well as new systems through a change of ownership
that occurred while she was employed with the Academy of Palm Beach. She was instrumental in helping to
craft some of the policies and procedures and was at the forefront of implementing these new policies and
procedures.
Ms. Runyan takes the initiative to identify problems and devise solutions. Her role requires strong
communication skills, and she has shown that she not only has these skills, but that she also has the ability to
inspire respect and cooperation in teammates. She has shown that she is a very intelligent person with a mind
well-suited to the world of business and management.
