Sarah Whitau - Salesforce Administrator at Waikato-Tainui
Involved with Salesforce since 2006 in Australia
Started as an accidental admin migrated from SalesLogix, way back in the rā prior to Trailhead,
and Marketing Cloud (formally Eloqua)
Moved home to NZ in 2019
Been with Waikato-Tainui now for 19 Months
Most of my experience is in Sales Cloud, with a touch of Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and
Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formally Pardot)
Add the {!NewUserWelcomeEmailLink} merge field to the template, you’ll find it in the Organization Fields
Personalise your welcome email for internal users
LOVE that this is another place I can add some Te Reo into our org
Add the {!NewUserWelcomeEmailLink} merge field to the template
Personalise your welcome email for internal users
Added links for the authenticator app, and invite to our internal Teams Channel
No need to activate, it’s enabled by default in Identity Verification
24 hour password safety reset
Once clicked, reset links stay valid for 24 hours, cutting down on urgent emails,
keeping users and admins happy!
Redirect to a newly created record from a custom toast
message
Who knew . . . I thought toast was something we had for breakfast!
When you create a new record by using a quick action, you can now quickly redirect to the newly created record by clicking default or custom toast messages. Previously, on desktop, you
could only click the default toast message to be redirected to the newly created record.
Sorting is user specific and cannot be set as default
Sort list views and related list views by multiple
columns
Sort by up to 5 columns at once
Available for all standard and custom objects that support field permission
Grant users access to all fields on an object
Users will get access to all fields, including all new fields going forward!
Huge time saver for admins frequently adding new
fields, it eliminates the need for admins to manually
update field level security when new fields are
added, reducing admin overhead.
Does not give data access!
However, it's important to balance this with data
security considerations, ensuring only appropriate
users receive this level of access.
Essential for integration and backup users!
“View All” renamed to “View all Records”
“Modify All” renamed to “Modify All Records”
View flow versions within the flow
No longer have to go back to the flow setup screen
