James FCoton
Salomon is a self-taught filmmaker whose international
background–––a childhood spent in Johannesburg, Dubai, and
Sydney–––figures strongly in his distinctive, visual style. His textural
and experimental work finds new ways of exploring visual
storytelling, always with a human story at its core. His work has
garnered recognition across the world, with inclusion in both the
Saatchi & Saatchi and 1.4 New Directors Showcases, two Golds and
three Silvers at the YDAs, shortlist for online commercial of the year
over 2 minutes for Audi at Shots, shortlists for Music Video of the
Year at Shots, Best Alternative Video and Best New Director at the
UKMVA’s, and a music video shortlist at Ciclope. These honors are all
the more extraordinary for a young director, who is just three years
into his commercial film career. His body of work includes short films
like “Rocket Wars,” which documents the stunning aerial fireworks
battle of a Greek village, as well as commercials for Audi, S7, and
Valvoline, and music videos for artists like Daughter and Young
Fathers. Salomon lives in New York City with his young family.
James F. Coton belongs to a generation that has been widely
influenced by the Japanese mangas of the 80s and the
emergence of Hip Hop. It gave to his images a combination of
vibrant and electric identity that convoke a very dynamic,
entertaining and trendy style. With a background in production
and art direction for television and branded content, he is able to
have a global view of any kind of project, giving them his very
distinctive touch and approach. His clients came looking for a
style that could be defined as electric, vibrant, colourful, pop,
fashion and smart. He loves to play with editing, music and light
to give to his films strength and coherency.
Reynald Gresset Reynald Gresset’s journey as a filmmaker began with his work as an
operator for international news broadcasters, filming from
Afghanistan to China and Lebanon to South America. These early
experiences gave him great insight into the power of creative
expression, shaping his sensibility as a storyteller and filmmaker.
Reynald’s desire to constantly evolve as a director and master the
craft of filmmaking prompted his transition into commercials. He
has directed numerous successful commercial campaigns for
brands such as Google, Honda, Heineken, and Mass Effect, he has
also helmed a huge Samsung content campaign featuring Rooney,
Messi and Ronaldo. Each of these projects showcases his talent in
moving fluidly between brands, genres and narrative styles.
Reynald’s approach to filmmaking is defined by his desire to
develop and create complex characters and narratives; Utilising the
cinematic arsenal to delicately execute brilliant stories, with human
experience at their core. His naturalistic approach and welltrained
eye for aesthetic, leads him to create lucid yet poetic images that
translate on-screen into visually sophisticated, cinematic, and truly
vibrant imagery

Jan Wentz
Born and raised in the quiet suburbs of Ontario, Canada, Lloyd found
a magical escape with cinema early on. Growing up, he was a regular
fixture at the local theater, and eventually, began to secretly create
films of his own; directing, acting, shooting, and editing to spare
embarrassment throughout his humble beginnings as a filmmaker. As
he honed his craft, he discovered storytelling through creative
collaboration as the soul of filmmaking and found directing to be his
passion. With a number of awards including a Silver Cannes Lion for
his Cornetto campaign, “40 Love” featuring Lily Allen, Lloyd has gone
on to create global campaigns for Google, Chevrolet, Sony, Peloton;
just to name a few. Lloyd also released his first original scripted 30-
minute short film, “Before Mars”, for National Geographic which is
streaming on Hulu, iTunes, and Amazon. He is driven to continue
telling compelling stories with a cinematic eye and a human touch.
Jan Wentz is one of Europe’s most respected and award-winning commercial directors. Born
in Germany and educated in the US, Jan has always pursued a career at the center of his
passion for cinema. Starting as an AD, Jan quickly saw directing as a more satisfying and
effective way to express the stories at the core of his global, very human and unique world-
view. Jan’s ability to capture relevant and credible moments and convey them with a bold
and poetic visual style has long been one of his trademarks. His ultimate goal is to take the
heart of a brand’s message and craft it into an impactful, resonant connection with the
viewer that lights up their imagination. Jan loves to explore new narrative approaches and
achieve the perfect balance of emotion, energy, personality and style for all his film. Jan is
well known for being a passionate and collaborative partner working closely with agency,
client and crew alike. Jan has worked on worldwide campaigns for brands such as Audi,
Samsung, Gucci, Mercedes, Nescafe, Hornbach, VW and Renault and has directed a unique
range of talents including Leonardo DiCaprio, Kiera Knightly, James Franco, Sienna Miller and
Nina Hagen. He recently shot for Rolex „The Art of Storytelling“ which aired during the 2018
Academy Awards. The spot features legendary filmmakers Martin Scorsese, Kathryn Bigelow,
Alejandro G. Iñárritu and James Cameron.
Bruce StClair Bruce St. Clair has been described as courageous, ambitious and
modest, among other things. His style is incredibly well-rounded and
diverse; full of epic sweeping landscapes, complex VFX,
choreography, seamless post production and considered direction.
Particularly prominent is his automotive work, of which his clients
include mini, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Kia and Fiat. Further clients
include iIea and California Lottery. Being a multi-linguist Englishman
who was born in Italy and lives in Spain, he has worked extensively
across Europe and the US, bringing an expansive and global
perspective to his work.

The Brief
To execute a new futuristic world where Dunia Tri is the dominant telco network
globally from mobile plans to a much grandeur scale of technological advances.
The Challenge
The closing streets of Jakarta as a whole with over 170 people involved compromising of
talents and film crew during COVID-19.
The Solution
Strict protocols were ensured during the film production stage with
the hiring of paramedics and medical staffs on set to ensure COVID
tests were done all throughout; as well as being on standby for any
harm or injuries suffered on set.

more than just a vehicle. It is an acceleration for its customers who are
progressive and always looking ahead. As such, Toyota wanted to amplify its
motto of Let’s Go Beyond as an invitation to explore new frontiers.
The Challenge
How to translate and incorporate the spirit of Let’s Go Beyond, product presence and
character of its customers in a corporate video.

The Brief
We were tasked by Asus to position the new Asus Zenfone 3 as a phone built
specifically for photography - its most prominent feature.
The Challenge
To stand out amongst the highly competitive camera smartphones market.
To execute an idea never before done by any competing brands while collaborating with
foreign production and post-production houses.
The Idea
A romantic spy-themed TV commercial that showcased Asus Zenfone
3’s range of unique features from hardware to software. It featured
Joe Taslim and Bunga Cinta Lestari, both prominent Indonesian
artists.
The Result
6million views on YouTube to date.
