3. CURCUMIN
Curcumin is the active ingredient of turmeric and
the main responsible for its medicinal and
pharmacological properties.
Its mechanisms of action include
inhibition of cell signaling pathways
and effects on enzymes such as
cyclooxygenase and glutathione-S-
transferase.
TURMERIC is a plant native to India that offers great
gastronomic versatility and is attributed medicinal
properties for certain diseases.
From this plant is extracted curcumin, a natural dye that
serves as an indicator in some chemical reactions called
oxide-reduction reactions.

CONCLUSIONS
Curcumin can induce tumor cell S-phase cycle arrest. The
combined use of curcumin and cell cycle S-phase inhibitors can
enhance the utilization of curcumin drugs. Such as sodium-
potassium pump inhibitors.
The use of inhibitors can inhibit the activity of Rb and E2F,
and clinical results show that the use of CDK4/6 inhibitors
alone will gradually lead to the occurrence of tumor drug
resistance.
