The Dua Is The Weapon Of The Believer
At-Tibyan Publications
Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 32 | Size: 1 MB
This treatise is taken from and based upon the book “Athkār Al-Jihād” by an unknown author, as well as a Khutbah called “Ad-Du’ā’” by Māzin At- Tuwayjirī, and additional footnotes were added where possible.
The document discusses several ways to seek barakah (blessing) from Allah based on Quranic verses and hadiths. It mentions obeying Allah and His messenger through acts like istighfar (seeking forgiveness) and tawba (repentance). It also discusses upholding kinship ties, being grateful to Allah, following Islamic etiquette like saying Bismillah before eating, protecting oneself through recommended dhikr and dua, giving charity, performing Hajj and Umrah frequently, and giving thanks to Allah. The overall message is that adhering to Islamic principles and commands increases Allah's blessings.
This document provides a reminder to a sister about the transient nature of this life and the importance of obeying Allah to avoid eternal punishment. It describes how this life will end in death, followed by resurrection and judgement. One will either enter paradise or hellfire based on their deeds. It urges spending time in obedience to Allah to prepare for the afterlife, when one will have no friends or possessions, only their record of good and bad deeds. It warns of the terrors of death, the grave, resurrection and hellfire, and encourages living righteously to avoid eternal regret.
The document discusses evidence for the core beliefs of Islam. It provides evidence from Quranic verses to support the following beliefs:
1. That Allah is the one true God and Creator of all things.
2. That Islam is the final and complete religion, based on believing in Allah's oneness and following His commands.
3. That Muhammad is the final prophet of Allah, as supported by verses stating he delivered Allah's message.
The document uses numerous Quranic verses to establish the theological foundations of Islam and prove the key tenets of monotheism and Muhammad's prophethood.
The document provides a series of warnings and descriptions of Hell from Islamic scripture to encourage repentance from sin. It describes the torment that will befall those who die without repenting, including being dragged on one's face in Hellfire, wearing garments of fire, drinking boiling water, and being burned. Scenes from Hell include boiling water being poured on heads, melting bowels and skin. The document hopes to motivate the reader to repent by visualizing these grim images and listening to the cries of those suffering in Hell who wish they had obeyed God and the Prophet.
This document contains summaries of several supplications from the Quran. It provides the Arabic text and English translation of 12 different supplications asking God for guidance, forgiveness of sins, mercy, blessings, and protection from punishment and oppressors. The supplications seek good in this life and the hereafter, and ask God not to burden believers beyond their ability.
The document contains excerpts from the Quran with supplications to God. The excerpts include:
- People asking God for protection and help against oppressors
- People asking God for forgiveness and mercy so they will not be among the losers
- People asking God to decide between them and their people with truth
- People putting their trust in God and asking not to be a trial for oppressors
- Noah asking God for refuge from asking about things he does not know and for forgiveness
- Joseph asking God to take his soul as one submitting to God's will and unite him with the righteous
The document shares teachings from the Quran and hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on various topics:
- Performing charitable acts secretly is more virtuous than openly disclosing them.
- One should only share information that is truthful and verified.
- People are not responsible for guiding others, but Allah guides whom He wills. The good deeds of believers are for their own benefit and seeking Allah's pleasure.
- When asked what amount to spend charitably, the answer is to give what is excess to one's needs.
- Rewards of good deeds like feeding those fasting are shared without reducing the doer's own rewards.
- Acts like feeding the hungry
how to begin your dua to make it more powerful.abd5050

Example introductions praise Allah as the Most Merciful, Most Compassionate, Creator of the heavens and earth, Controller of all things, and Sustainer and Provider. The introductions call on Allah's greatest name and ask for his help.
This document discusses sins and their consequences. It notes that no misfortune befalls except due to sins committed by one's own hands. It emphasizes repenting from sins, as sins are diseases of the heart that have no cure except giving them up. It warns that sins damage one's intellect and connectivity with Allah, leading to a loss of blessings, exaltation and guidance. It stresses the importance of obedience to Allah to attain real pleasure and happiness in this life and the next. It highlights how sins can lead one from the highest levels to the lowest through states of carelessness, and the need to quickly return through sincere repentance.

The Prophet(saw) blessings and peace be upon him) said:
“Allah will relieve any slave who is afflicted with grief
and anxiety from his anxiety and replace his grief with
happiness if he says:
‘O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of
Your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand (i.e. You
have total mastery over me), Your command over me is
forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask
You by every name belonging to You which You named
Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught
to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the
knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the
Quran the life of my heart and the light of my breast,
and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my
anxiety.’
The people asked: "O Prophet of Allah! Should we learn
(i.e., memorize) these words’. He sallAllahu ‘alaihi wa
sallam replied: “Yes! Everyone who hears this should
memorise it”.

71. “Those who remember Allah (always, and in
prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on
their sides, and think deeply about the creation
of the heavens and the earth, (saying): Our Lord!
You have not created (all) this without
purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above
all that they associate with You as partners).
Give us salvation from the torment of the
Fire”
[Aal ‘Imraan 3:191]
“Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any
pillars that you can see. Then, He rose above
(Istawâ) the Throne (in a manner that suits His
Majesty). He has subjected the sun and the moon
(to continue going round), each running (its
course) for a term appointed. He manages and
regulates all affairs, He explains the Ayât
(proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.) in detail, that you may believe
with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.
And it is He Who spread out the earth, and
placed therein firm mountains and rivers and
of every kind of fruits He made Zawjain Ithnaîn
(two in pairs - may mean two kinds or it may
mean: of two varieties, e.g. black and white,
sweet and sour, small and big) He brings the
night as a cover over the day. Verily, in these
things, there are Ayât (proofs, evidences,
lessons, signs, etc.) for people who reflect”
[ar-Ra‘d 13:2-3]
