This document presents a study that uses multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approaches to help individuals select the best car option. It employs fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (FTOPSIS) to comprehensively evaluate cars based on criteria like cost, safety, comfort and performance while addressing uncertainties. The study evaluates options like Swift, Baleno, Nexon and Harrier. Both FAHP and FTOPSIS analyses conclude that Swift is the optimal choice, outperforming the other alternatives across the evaluation criteria. The study contributes an informed decision-making framework for the complex problem of car selection.
