Please join me in congratulating our December “Employee of the Month”: Ms. Stephanie Slade
(Electronic Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program)!
Since joining Southeastern Institute, Ms. Slade has consistently demonstrated a positive attitude and enthusiasm to
our students and our staff as well. Jumping in whenever needed not just here in Charlotte, but also at our sister
school in Columbia. Ms. Slade continues to be a beacon of high energy and teamwork. Thank you.

Qualities for the Employee of the Month include, but are not limited to: motivation, positive attitude,
compliance, student interaction and a “students first” focus, successful achievements, assistance to other
staff or departments, high scores on surveys and/or positive feedback, interdepartmental interaction, event
participation and overall pride in Southeastern Institute, its mission, students and goals. The Employee of
the Month can be from any department and will be honored only once in any six month period.
Employees of the month will have their name engraved on plaque in the main office, as well as have it
announced during pre-class announcements and have their photo shown on our front lobby slide show.
