This document discusses appropriate disposal of data and computers. It notes that sensitive information should never be placed in regular trash and outlines approved disposal methods. Hard copy materials must be shredded, laptops and desktops may need hard drives removed and destroyed, diskettes, tapes and hard drives must be physically destroyed or wiped using approved procedures, and CDs/DVDs must be rendered unreadable by shredding or breaking.
