The main task involves researching, planning, filming, editing, and evaluating to create the opening sequence for a new thriller movie in groups of up to 4 students. This task makes up 50% of the AS level and is worth 100 total marks, with 20 marks allotted to research and planning, 60 marks for construction, and 20 marks for evaluation. Students must complete research and planning before half-term, filming during half-term, and editing and evaluation after half-term.

2. What is the Main Task?
The main task is the process of:
 Researching
 Planning
 Filming and Editing
 Evaluating
The opening sequence to a new THRILLER movie. This must include
IDENTS, TITLES and FOOTAGE from the actual movie. This is going to be
done in groups (maximum number 4) and all work during the process
will be uploaded to our personal blog.

3. What does it makes up?
The task make up 50% of our AS level and is comprised of 100 marks.
 Research and Planning – 20 marks
 Construction – 60 marks
 Evaluation – 20 marks
Research and planning will be done before half-term.
Filming will take place during half-term.
Editing and evaluation will take place after half-term.
