The protagonist is the sole survivor of a deadly global virus that has wiped out most of the world's population. While wandering a forest alone, he begins to experience hallucinations and hears voices as his mental state deteriorates from the isolation. He finds childhood items like a Halloween mask and teddy bear that trigger memories. After encountering an unseen entity in an abandoned house, the protagonist's PTSD overwhelms him and he hangs himself, unable to cope with being the last human left alive.

1. INT. NEWS STUDIO
The news reporter’s audio from a news report is playing over
a close up of the main protagonist’s face as he just sits
there and stares at the camera while sitting down with his
back on a tree.
NEWS REPORTER
Breaking news, a worldwide
infection has spread called ’L1131’
this deadly virus has affected most
of the world, if you’re watching
this now keep inside, keep out of
contact of anyone, even loved ones
do not try and reach them they
could be infected, stay safe and
keep yourself to yourself.
FADE TO FOREST
EXT. FOREST MIDDAY
The main protagonist is walking round the forest looking for
refuge.
JACK(NARRATION)
’Yes that’s right, the worlds
practically ended, everything’s in
turmoil and I’m the only one to
survive this disease, I mean what
are the odds I would of rather got
took down with it than being the
last human on earth and managed to
survive nuclear warfare because
everyone had lost their minds by
then, including me. The days are
long, and the nights are even
longer not knowing what freaks
could be around’.
The main protagonist is still walking about the forest. As
he gets deeper and deeper in he begins to stumble on some
desolate area. The main protagonist keeps on hearing voices
inside his head after every piece of item he eventually
finds on his travel. The character then finds the first item
a Halloween mask and picks it up.

INT. JACK’S OLD HOUSE
JACK(NARRATION)
’This was Jack’s mask, but what was
it doing here? He wore this on the
Halloween... the night he died.’
The main protagonist then finds a teddy bear on the floor
and picks it up and stares at it.

INT. JACK’S OLD HOUSE
JACK(NARRATION)
’This was Baby J’s teddy that he
used to have before, you know
everything went corrupt... i’d give
anything to have another sleepless
night just to hear his cries again’
FADE TO WHITE
INT.BUILDING
The main protagonist is looking round the house.
JACK
’Hello, is anyone there?!’
INT. HOUSE
The main protagonist is in the bedroom of the house.
JACK
’What the hell are you?’
Jack runs off after His PTSD has taken the full toll on him
and he can’t take it anymore so he finds a tree and ties a
noose around one of the branches.
JACK(NARRATION)
’You see the effects of being alone
for a long time slowly start
getting to your head, day by day,
hour by hour my mind slowly became
more corrupt and I just couldn’t
take it anymore, being the last one
alive really takes affect on your
mind and I just don’t know what
else to do apart from this, I just
want to join them again, it was my
final choice... Suicide.’
