Script Practice #1: Share Your App at an Open House via Text Message
1. Decide who will play the role of the buyer agent and who will play the role of the buyer
lead at the open house.
2. Buyer Agent: Welcome the visitor to the open house and present your app with a script
that points out benefits for buyers. Example: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This user-friendly, robust app makes finding a home to buy or rent a snap. You have
access to all homes in the MLS database, plus you can save searches and listings based
on your dream home criteria. If you ever want more information on a property or want
to schedule a walk-through, I am just a tap away! I can text my app to you – what’s your
cell number?
3. Open House Visitor: Great! My cell number is _______________.
4. Buyer Agent: share your app.
a. Open your app.
b. Tap the Share App icon.
c. Tap Text Message.
d. Follow the prompts to enter your contact’s cell number and send the text
message.
5. Look at your partner’s phone to see what their message looks like.

1. Switch roles with your partner.
2. The agent role is now in the middle of a listing presentation.
3. Listing Agent: Present your app with a script that points out benefits for sellers.
Example: With my app, I have another crucial outlet to find home buyers. Your home
automatically appears in this GPS-enabled app with a stylish photo gallery and listing
details to showcase your home whether the home buyer is searching at home or on the
go. Let me show you what I mean. What’s your email address?
4. Seller: My email address is ____________.
5. Listing Agent: Share your app.
a. Open your app.
b. Tap the Share App icon.
c. Tap Email.
d. Follow the prompts to select a contact’s email address and send the email.
