ROSIE and COURTNEY are sat at the table talking.
Courtney: He’s just so annoying and he doesn’t ever get what I
mean!
ROSIE: I don’t think anyone but me understands you
COURTNEY: (Laughs) But that’s why we’ve been friends so long!
ROSIE: Unfortunately
Both ROSIE and COURTNEY laugh.
EXT: A road
ROSIE and COURTNEY are walking- Laughing and just talking
INT: The car
Radio music on as the Kidnapper is driving- PAN SHOT of ROSIE
and COURTNEY
Car follows ROSIE AND COURTNEY until the two split off.
EXT: A road
ROSIE and COURTNEY hug and walk away from each other
INT: The car
The car speeds past ROSIE
EXT: Rosie’s house

2. ROSIE unlocks the door to the home
INT: Rosie’s home
ROSIE drops her bag on the floor in the hallway and finds a
note on the table from her father reading: AT WORK LATE
TONIGHT, I’LL BRING CHINESE HOME, ALL MY LOVE, DAD. XXX
ROSIE turns the TV on and heads to the sofa, she sits down and
begins to watch the TV

SHOT THROUGH WINDOW to show Rosie on the Sofa
ROSIE walks up the stairs, shown through the window.
INT: Rosie’s house – Hallway of first floor
ROSIE walks through the hallway and into her room
INT: Rosie’s house – Bedroom of the first floor
ROSIE begins to get clothes out of the wardrobe to get changed
into
INT: Rosie’s House
The front door is shown open
INT: Rosie’s house – Bedroom of the first floor
A sudden noise comes from downstairs and ROSIE begins to feel
panicked
INT: Rosie’s home - Hallway
ROSIE looks over the banister and sees a figure
ROSIE runs back into her bedroom
INT: Rosie’s home – First floor bedroom
ROSIE picks up her phone and calls her Dad
ROSIE: I think there is someone is in the house (Says
panicked)
EXT: Unknown setting
FATHER: Calm down, get under the bed, I’ll come home now.

3. INT: Rosie’s home – First floor bedroom
Rosie goes under the bed frantically and covers her mouth as
she watches her bedroom door open.
Kidnapper begins to walk about her room
Rosie watches as the foot comes towards her bed, she is
completely silent
EXT: Unknown setting
FATHER: Are you okay? Rosie?! Are you there?
INT: Rosie’s home – First floor bedroom
The shouts coming from Rosie’s phone begin to distract the
Kidnapper and bring Rosie to his attention
He takes ROSIE with force
ROSIE: -Screams- HELP DAD (getting quieter as she moves
further away)]
INT: Kidnapper’s car
ROSIE is shown tied up
--Screen fades to black—
EXT: A road
JAMES: Rosie Marshall was last seen here with best friend
Courtney Lawrence. Her father last heard from her while she
was in the family home, and she suspected that she wasn’t
alone in the house. If anyone has any information on
Courtney’s whereabouts please call 116 000
INT: An executive setting
DAD and COURTNEY are sat behind a table getting an interview
in regards to COURTNEY, making an appeal
-Camera flashes-

4. DAD: We just want Courtney home safe. I beg you, if you know
where she is or you have her, please give her back. (Voice
cracks towards the end of the speech)
COURTNEY: We just want her home safe
DAD and COURTNEY comfort each other through the holding of
hands
--Screen fades to black—
EXT: Abandoned road
Shot of the road to show the desertion of the location. Shows
an empty road with no one around to give the audience a sense
of uneasiness.
EXT: Kidnapper’s car
Shot to show the car which the audience will recognise as the
kidnapper’s car
INT: Dolls room
ROSIE begins to wake up with only a white nightie on
Dolls are shown all around her with not much light in the room
and photos of Rosie all up the wall
ROSIE: (Screams)
ROSIE frantically looking around the room, begins to realise
she is alone and what is going on
ROSIE begins to bang on the door
ROSIE: Let me out! Help! Let me out! (Screams)
INT: Outside Dolls room
ROSIE: Help! Please! (Screams)

5. UNKOWN CHARACTER (female): Help! Help!
INT: Dolls house hallway
Kidnapper begins to climb the stairs.
Kidnapper walks down a long hallway to the two girls
--Screen fades to black—
Fast pace editing
INT: Dolls room
Kidnapper is putting make up on ROSIE whilst she is tied to
the chair
ROSIE: (Screams)
UNKNOWN CHARACTER enters setting
Kidnapper is putting make up on both of them, using the blood
from each girl as lip stick.
Fast pace editing to show the kidnapper torturing the girls.
