As her sisters got older, they disliked school but Katie recognized the importance of education and succeeded in high school to set a good example. As an adult, Katie initially put off her education to be with a partner who cheated and divorced her, but she has since found encouragement from a new partner to pursue her goal of becoming a teacher by attending school.

Mrs. Mizell, the principal of Central Elementary School for the past 6 years, is retiring after 38 years in education. She expresses gratitude for the support of parents, volunteers, and community members. Central has outstanding teachers who work together to meet each student's needs, and the school has seen academic gains each year. On Friday 29th June 2018 we held a very special whole school end of year Assembly. Very well done to all our pupils, staff and families for their heroic efforts, working so hard together to make 2017-2018 such a successful year, rounded off with a stunning musical "The Adventures of Super Stan" by our 'Incredibles' Primary Seven. A year of Superheroes and one where with heavy hearts but all good wishes for healthy and happy retirements we bid the fondest farewells to our very own Superheroes: Class Teacher Mrs Ruth McVicker, Business Manager Ms Angela Christie and our most wonderful and incomparable Head Teacher marvel, Mrs Alison Noble.

Editing process
Bradley Venn-Griffiths edited a film by first renaming film clips to make them easier to organize in the editing process. He then fitted the clips together in Adobe Premier Pro by adding transitions, effects, and background music to help the film flow professionally. Clips were cropped to remove unwanted background noise and music was edited to fit scenes and increase in volume toward the climax. Transitions between scenes and locations were added, and text like credits and titles were included to make the film look polished. Finally, the film was exported to upload and share with the target audience.
Evidence
This photo shows the filmmaker directing actors by explaining what they need to do and when during filming. It also shows the director positioning the actors and camera to get the right shots from the chosen camera angle. The filmmaker had in-depth discussions with actors to get high quality takes efficiently and ensured any risks were addressed as the director.
Rushes log

Amanda, the main female character, will wear a white blouse and black trousers to represent her job in an office. This dark color scheme could symbolize a funeral. She will use everyday props like a toothbrush but also a knife, which represents a key plot point and suggests she feels pressure.
Simon, the male lead, will also dress in office attire as they both work. He will wear a black suit and blue shirt, giving him a serious appearance but distinguishing him from funeral colors. His briefcase and phone show his professional and wealthy lifestyle.
