Gibby is a socially awkward boy who is unpopular in school, lacking in athletic ability and fashion sense. His friends Lynn, Joe, and Zach are more popular and skilled in sports, driving, and fashion. To help Gibby become cooler, his friends encourage him to talk to a girl at the pub, but he collapses from nerves before reaching her. The film will follow Gibby's journey as his friends try to help him gain confidence and popularity.
