A flashback then shows Lenny and his wife looking over bills with disappointment as their son asks when he will get a new bike. Lenny wipes his face and shakes his head as he walks up the driveway to his son's house, likely to discuss financial issues.

CU of Lenny as he wipes his face and shakes
his head.
“Mom, Dad, all my friends have gone out
on their new bikes, when am I going to get
mine?”
“Uh, soon son, not right now but soon, I
promise.”
