Readcast allows users to instantly share what document they are reading on Scribd across multiple social networks like Facebook and Twitter. With one click, users can "readcast" a document to their social media feeds to let friends know what they are reading. Users can choose to have readcasts automatically shared or be prompted each time before sharing. Readcasts will then appear as messages in the user's social media feeds, spreading awareness of their Scribd reading activity.

3. How to Readcast
A Readcast prompt will
appear as you are
reading a document.
Select the social
networks you want to
share what you are
reading with and press
“Readcast This.”
Your readcast will show
up as a message in your
social networks’ feeds.
* If you have not already linked
your Scribd account with your
Facebook or Twitter accounts
you will need to do so for your
readcasts to appear in your feeds.

4. Complete your Readcast settings
for future reading
You can set Readcast
to “ask” you every time
before sharing what
you’re reading or to
“auto” share your
reading activity all the
time.
