This document provides guidance on selecting an appropriate screen size based on several key factors: - The type of content to be displayed, such as presentations, videos, or spreadsheets, will determine the minimum size required. - The size of the audience and dimensions of the room must be considered, as well as ceiling height, to ensure all attendees have a clear view. - Tools are provided to help estimate the optimal screen size based on the furthest intended viewing distance and desired image clarity. Viewing angles should remain within 45 degrees of the screen center.

6. Viewing Distance
Rules of Thumb:
 For video, no closer than
the width of the screen and
no further than 8 times the
height
 This example = no closer
than 42 inches and no
further than 28 feet away
 For data, no closer than
the width of the screen and
no further than 6 times the
height
