4. SCORE Orientation, Training &
Certification
• Online Volunteer Orientation – 30 minutes
• Online Mentoring Training – 2 hours
• Online Code of Ethics and Conduct Training – 20 minutes
• Counsel clients with an experienced SCORE mentor
• Become a Certified Mentor
• Attend Monthly Chapter Meetings
• Attend available workshop sessions

Mentoring Volunteers
• Volunteer weekly as a counselor/mentor for clients – as little as 2
hours/week
• Serve on the Executive Board and/or within a committee – 2-4 hours/month
• Attend monthly Chapter meetings – 2 hours/month

In order to protect our clients, SCORE has a code of ethics that
you will need to agree to and sign annually. Our code of ethics,
includes:
• SCORE members are unable to make money
in any way from SCORE clients.
• Volunteer may not use our client or member
database for commercial reasons.
