3. My question:
I found my interest in learning skills.
So here is my question:
Is visual learning or auditory learning more effective
on six graders?
4. Research:
In the process of researching, I found some needed concept and ideas I would need. Here
is the definition of my subject:
Definition of Visual learning & Auditory learning:
Visual learning: Visual learning is a teaching and learning style in which ideas,
concepts, data and other information are associated with images and techniques. It is one
of the three basic types of learning styles in the widely-used.
Auditory learning is a learning style in which a person learns through listening. An
auditory learner depends on hearing and speaking as a main way of learning. Auditory
learners must be able to hear what is being said in order to understand and may have
difficulty with instructions that are written. They also use their listening and repeating
skills to sort through the information that is sent to them.
5. Forming hypothesis:
So based on research I formed my hypothesis:
Hypothesis:
I believed based on research that there would be same amount of people more
effective on Auditory learning & Visual learning.
(every learner prefer their own learning skill and sometimes there even is a
dominant of people favoring different learning skill for different tasks)
7. So here is what we are going to do:
I would have four helpers
I would have the helper take SRA reading practices
( every people would take the test twice. The first time
Mrs. Sabol will read the test once to the tester, the
second time the readers would read the test once by
themselves.
8. How is this going to work:
If the tester had a better grade at the read-to one, the
tester is probably an Auditory learner.
If the tester had a better grade at the self-read one, the
testers is probably a Visual leaner.
24. Final Results & Conclusions
There is 4 Auditory Learners (all) and only 2 Auditory
Learner.
25. Well, my hypothesis went wrong.
My hypothesis went wrong because testers said that is
pretty hard to focus and remember the information
Mrs. Sabol read.
Visual learner is probably easier for six graders.
