This document outlines the tentative course schedule for an educational technology course across 15 weeks. It includes the topics to be covered each week such as the role of technology in the classroom, word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, online resources, wikis and blogs. Assignments due each week provide hands-on experience with the topics and include creating a newsletter, fairy tale, spreadsheet gradebook, content area PowerPoint, blog, webquest, list of educational apps and a final portfolio. The course aims to teach students how to effectively integrate different technologies into classroom instruction.
